About rendering intents

A rendering intent is a remapping method, allowing to remap colors so that they best match the intended use. ‘Remapping’ means that colors from one output device’s color space are mapped to the color space of another device.

For more information, refer to the chapter "Rendering intents to remap colors" in the PitStop Pro Reference Guide on the Enfocus website.
