What it does

Selects objects that occur on a certain number of color plates (separations). You can make the selection based on the object's fill and/or stroke.

Example

You could for example search for objects with 4 color plates (dark gray), and afterwards change gray to CMYK Black. This will reduce the number of plates from 4 plates to 1 plate.
