Visualizing an Action List at your own speed ("Step mode")

To go through an Action List, step by step, at your own speed, proceed as follows

  1. Make sure the Action List Visualizer is active. Starting the Action List Visualizer
  2. To actually start visualizing, click the Step button . Only the Action with the pointer is executed. Immediately after the Action is executed, the pointer moves to the next Action.
  3. To proceed to the next Action, click the Step button . Do this until you have reached the end of the Action List. Actions in a collapsed group are executed but not shown, meaning that the pointer proceeds to the next visible Action in the Action List. Breakpoints are ignored. They are only relevant in Run mode.
Once all Actions have been executed, you can see the end result of the Action List in your sample document. You can now make changes if needed, and check the Action List again from the beginning. To do so, click the Restart button to undo all changes and move the pointer to the beginning of the Action List.
Note: You can also undo the changes through the menu: Edit > Enfocus Undo Visualize Action List .
