To split or merge a text segment

In the Adobe Acrobat x, navigate to Tools > PitStop Inspect and click this button to display the Enfocus Inspector.
In older versions of Adobe Acrobat, choose Window > Show Enfocus Inspector or click the Show Inspector button to display the Enfocus Inspector.
Click the Text category.
Using the Select Objects tool , select one or more text segments which you want to split.
Choose any one of the following options from the Actions menu:
- Split in Characters
- Split in Words
- Convert Text to Outlines
- Merge into Text Lines or
- Merge into Words
Note: The options listed above are also available in the sub menu of PitStop Pro > Object menu in Acrobat X.
