Viewing Certified PDF 2 Document Certificates

The Certified PDF Preflight and Verification process also checks if the PDF is compliant with Certified PDF 2.

A Certified PDF 2 Document Certificate is a statement about certain properties of the PDF file, for example “Conforms to the GWG Magazine Ads Preflight Profile” or “Produced a hard-copy proof on printer XYZ with ID de719fa2”. The Certified PDF 2 information is stored in the PDF file as XMP metadata. Certified PDF 2 is also compatible with the GWG Universal Proof of Preflight ticket.
