The EFI Colorproof XF can accept EFI Remoteproof containers, PDF, PostScript, JPEG, TIFF, TIFF/IT and PSD.
This configurator connects to the XF server on the network. Therefore, there is no need to have additional applications installed on the computer running Switch. Application detection is not necessary.
This configurator requires an incoming connection. A single outgoing connection is optional, where the Colorproof XF sends the original file when the job has been handed over to the XF system.
The job is sent to the Colorproof XF and processing in Switch continues as soon as the entire job has been handed off, without waiting for the completion of the proof itself.
If the incoming job is an individual file, it is passed to Colorproof XF on its own. If the incoming job is a job folder, all files immediately inside the job folder are passed to Colorproof XF. Any subfolders and their contents are ignored. Any file in an unsupported format causes the complete job to fail.
Use your XF Client to create a user with username "SWITCH" and password "SWITCH". Make sure the user is connected to all the workflows you wish to connect to from within Switch.
