dutchsoftware Elvis Send



This configurator allows to send files to the Elvis Asset Management System.

As the Elvis configurator is connecting to the Elvis application through a SOAP server, there are no licensing requirements.

Note that the Elvis Send configurator can only handle individual files. Job folders will fail.

Name

The name of the flow element displayed in the canvas

Server URL

The Elvis server url as mentioned on the Elvis client install page

User name

Elvis user name. The user must have sufficient permissions.

Action

Select the action to perform:


  • Create: Create a new asset in Elvis in the defined Folder path

  • Create Variation: Create a new asset in Elvis, with relation to the original job asset. This means the job must originate from an "Elvis Receive" configurator.

  • Update: update an existing asset in Elvis. This means the job must originate from an "Elvis Receive" configurator.

  • Set metadata: set asset meta data in Elvis. This means the job must originate from an "Elvis Receive" configurator.

Folder path

The destination folder in Elvis.

When using with action ’Create Variation’, take care on the setting of ’Append hierarchy info’, as the hierarchy will be appended to the path specified here.

Append hierarchy info

Append job hierarchy info to ’Folder path’. If the Folder path is empty, the hierarchy info attached to the job will define the complete destination path in Elvis.

Field to set

The Metadata field to set after the asset has been uploaded.

This must be a valid Elvis metadata field name.

Value to set

Value to set in the chosen metadata field after the asset has been uploaded.

Dataset name

Name of the dataset where the asset’s metadata is stored.
