dutchsoftware Elvis Receive



This configurator allows to retrieve files from the Elvis Asset Management System.

As the Elvis configurator is connecting to the Elvis application through a SOAP server, there are no licensing requirements.

Connections

This configurator doesn’t support incoming connections. It allows a single outgoing connection.

Name

The name of the flow element displayed in the canvas

Server URL

The Elvis server url as mentioned on the Elvis client install page

User name

Elvis user name. The user must have sufficient permissions.

Password

Elvis user password

Scan every (minutes)

Number of minutes between searches

Batch size

Maximum number of files to download per batch.

Query

Additional Elvis query to limit the returned results. If left blank, all assets will be found.

Example queries:


  • status:Final: find all assets with status ’Final’

  • ancestorPaths:/Demo/Zone/Images: Find all assets in subfolders of /Demo/Zone/Images

  • rating:[4 to 6]: Find all assets with a rating between 4 and 6

Field to set

The Metadata field to set after the asset has been downloaded. For example define a custom field in the Elvis "customassetinfo.xml" called "cf_pickedUpBySwitch.

This must be a valid Elvis metadata field name.

When used in combination with the "Exclude if already set" propery, you can prevent an asset to be processed twice.

Value to set

Value to set in the chosen metadata field after the asset has been downloaded.

Exclude assets from download

Exclude assets from the query that already have a value for the "Field to set".

Dataset name

Name of the dataset where the asset’s metadata will be stored.

Attach hierarchy info

Will attach folder path from Elvis as hierarchy info.
