Detecting the application

This configurator implements the following mechanisms to detect the presence of the corresponding third-party application. This entails that the ICS RD configurator is able to find the ICS RD CL API. See Detecting third-party applications for more information.

Detection mechanism	Comments
Automatic detection at startup	Uses information registered with the operating system when the application is installed (Windows) or checks the default install location (Mac)
Searching from the elements pane	In addition to the above, searches the system program files/applications folder for the application
Manually locating the executable	Browse to the correct folder and select the icsiproofmgr file

Connections

This configurator allows multiple traffic light connection.

Properties

Property	Description
Name	The name of the flow element displayed in the canvas
Customer	Name of the customer-level folder that will have Jobs inside
Job	Name of the Job-level folder that will have Proofs inside
Proof name	Name of the proof to create
Finish proof	Set the proof to finished or not.
Delete proof	Delete the proof from the server
Timeout	Set a time in which the proof has to be reviewed before failing the proof. In this case, you can define this Orphan timeout in hours.
Username	Seat username. When set to default, the user name must be defined in the Preferences file
Password	Seat password. When set to default, the password must be defined in the Preferences file
Preferences file	If the properties "Username" or "Password" are set to default, their value must be specified in a preferences file. An example file is installed and can be found in: Mac: /Library/ApplicationSupport/SwitchScripts/ICS Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SwitchScripts\ICS Windows 7 or Vista: C:\ProgramData\SwitchScripts\ICS (The same preferences file can be used for both Submit and Report configurator)
