The SwitchClient setup requires quite
some preparation in Switch, usually done
by a system administrator. This includes:
- Installing and activating Switch (including activating the SwitchClient module).
- Designing and activating one or more flows that will process the jobs submitted by and
monitored from SwitchClient.
- Configuring user access rights (in the Users pane)
- Configuring communication settings (through the Switch user Preferences).
Once this has been done, next steps are:
- Installing SwitchClient (as SwitchClient has its own installer) on one or more computers in
the network as required.
- Establishing the connection between SwitchClient and the Switch Server.
