Configuring the communication settings for SwitchClient
To configure the communication settings for SwitchClient
Navigate to:
On Windows: Edit
> Preferences.
On Mac OS: Enfocus Switch
> Preferences.
The User preferences dialog appears.
In the left part of the dialog, click Internal
communication.
Set the Switch Server name preference to an
appropriate name for this instance of Switch.
This name is shown to SwitchClient users to differentiate between multiple
Switch instances.
Leave the Port for Switch client preference
at its default value (51008), unless there is a good reason to change
it.
In previous Switch versions, you had an option to enable or disable secure
HTTPS protocol (Secure SwitchClient communication).
This option is no longer available: the communication with SwitchClient
always uses the secure HTTPS protocol.
