Activating Switch

Once you have installed Switch, you must activate the application.

Trial version

If you want to try the application before you buy it, you can activate a trial version. A trial version remains active for 30 days.

The Switch Core Engine doesn't have a built-in trial version; contact your local Enfocus reseller and request a trial version. You will receive a license key which can be activated in the same way as a purchased license (see further).

The Switch additional modules do have a built-in trial version. Once you have activated the Switch Core Engine, you can activate trial versions of the other modules, without having to contact a reseller. Refer to Activating a Switch trial for additional modules (online method) or Activating a Switch trial for additional modules (offline method).

Licensed version

If you have bought the application, you can activate the modules for which you have a license:

If you installed Switch on a computer with internet access, refer to Activating Switch (online method).
If you installed Switch on a computer without internet access, refer to Activating Switch (offline method).
Note: In this case, you need another computer with internet access to communicate with the Enfocus web server.

Remember that you can only activate licenses with a local Designer. When using Remote Designer, you can view the license information, but you cannot change it.
