The Archive hierarchy element allows you to move processed files into a subfolder hierarchy (instead of a flat structure, with all files in one root folder).
This output folder structure can be the subfolder hierarchy that was used to deliver the jobs (via a Submit hierarchy element), or a different subfolder hierarchy, for example based on which routes the job took in a flow. For example, you could move all jobs that were processed successfully to a subfolder OK, and files with problems to a subfolder Not OK.
The information needed to place the job in the appropriate location is retrieved from the job’s internal job ticket. The hierarchy information is empty by default. It is created if the Attach hierarchy information property of a flow element is set to Yes; if the hierarchy information was not stored in the Submit hierarchy element, it is not available, hence it cannot be used to restore the original folder structure.
