Working with job folders and subfolders

As explained earlier, Switch accepts both files and folders (such as InDesign folders) as input, and moves them along the flow as one entity. However, sometimes single files that have to be processed as separate files are also submitted in a hierarchy of subfolders, for example because the customer sorts them by project or by date.

Switch cannot distinguish between real job folders (to be processed as one entity) and files in a subfolder hierarchy (to be processed as separate files), unless you use one of the following flow elements dedicated for working with hierarchy structures:
