Assigning access to Submit points and Checkpoints

For each Submit point and Checkpoint used in your Switch flows, you can define which users or user groups have the right to access it.

To assign access to Submit points and Checkpoints

  1. In the toolbar at the top of the application, click the Users button. In the right part of the Users pane, under Submit points, all flow groups and flows with a Submit point configured in Switch are shown. Under Checkpoints, flow groups and flows with a Checkpoint are shown.
  2. To assign access to one or more Submit points, under Submit points, select:
    • All, to give access to all Submit points in all flows on the Server.
    • A flow group (), to give access to all underlying Submit points (i.e. all Submit points configured for all flows in the selected group).
    • A flow (), to give access to all Submit points configured for that flow.
    • A Submit point (), to give access to this particular Submit point.
    Note: The users or groups that have access to the selected level are listed on the right; users for whom the access has been set on a higher level (e.g. on group level iso flow level) are also shown but grayed out. Note that you must select the correct level to remove a user or user group.
  3. Click .
    Note: Alternatively, if (earlier selected) users or groups are listed in the right part of the panel, you can simply select them and drag and drop them (one by one) to the appropriate Submit point.
  4. Select the appropriate user or group.
  5. Click OK. The name of the selected user or group is shown.
  6. Proceed in the same to way to give access to Checkpoints .
