Installing a different version of a configurator

There may be several reasons why you need a different version of a configurator. The most obvious one is that you want to upgrade to the most recent version, but you can also have to switch to another version because of compatibility with the third-party application or with the version of Switch.

To install a different version of configurator that is already installed in your Switch

  1. In Switch, go to Help > Download configurators (only available if you have licensed the Configurator module). The Enfocus Pack Manager is displayed.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To download the latest version of an already installed configurator:
      1. In the Sources column, click Installed.
      2. Select the configurator you want to update.
      3. Click Download latest version and save the configurator (with file extension .enfpack) to your local system.
    • To download a particular version of a configurator:
      1. In the Sources column, click Web.
      2. If you consider installing an older version of the configurator (for example for compatibility reasons), click the Actions button (in the top right corner) and select Show > Show old versions .
      3. Select the configurator and the version of your choice.
      4. Click Download and save the configurator (with file extension .enfpack) to your local system.
  3. To install the downloaded version, do one of the following:
    • Double-click the downloaded enfpack.
    • Drag the downloaded enfpack onto the Flow elements pane in Switch.
    • In the Flow elements pane, click , select Open and install and choose the downloaded enfpack.
  4. Click OK to confirm.
