Setting your Switch preferences

After you have installed and activated Switch, we recommend going over the user preferences and setting them as required. Note that a number of settings are required, in order to run Switch, for example the name of the Switch Server and, if you want to use Active Directory in Switch, the Active Directory settings.

To set your Switch user preferences

  1. Navigate to:
    • On Windows OS : Edit > Preferences .
    • On Mac OS: Enfocus Switch > Preferences .
    The User preferences dialog appears.
  2. In the left part of the dialog, click a category, for example User interface. The corresponding properties are shown in the right part of the dialog. The meaning of the different options is explained further in this manual.
  3. Enter the required values.
