You can for example choose the language of the interface,
indicate whether or not unavailable configurators must be hidden, determine how many
processes are allowed to run in parallel etc.
Provide Switch with data it needs for sending e-mail notifications, setting up FTP
connections, connecting to databases etc.
Note: Note that, when launching Switch using Remote Designer, a number of user preferences are
hidden. Furthermore, if you have limited access (read-only access), you will only be able to
view the preferences; you will not be able to change them. For more information, refer to
Configuring Switch users.
