Viewing log messages

As of Switch 13, you can view your log messages in a web browser that is either opened from within Switch Designer or through a URL.

Alternatively you can still view the messages in the Message pane in Switch Designer, just like in the previous versions of Switch. Note however that the Messages button no longer brings you to the Messages pane, but to the new web messages overview.

The new web browser view has the following advantages compared to the Messages pane (still available via View > Show panes > Messages ):

The web browser overview allows you to export messages to a CSV file, whereas the Message pane only provides export to XML.
Debug and assert messages can only be displayed in the web browser overview.
The web browser overview does not affect the performance of Switch.
